The Judiciary Council's role at Poly is to listen to any student complaints or compliments regarding school policies. Basically, we tell Ms. Cardillo and the other administrators what changes we think will best benefit the student body! One big thing I want the JC to be in charge of this year is giving student perspectives on student misconduct through student hearings.
Addressing new changes to school policies
Food delivieries
Off-campus privileges
Student Hearings
Trialing mock hearings to prepare/train Council members
Think about vulnerabilities regarding Hearings
How to lessen stress among students
Wellness activities/events
Awareness regarding testing policies
Assessment calendar
Better mental health/less anxiety
Creating a more user-friendly version of the Handbook
Financial literacy
Student Hearings: do we make them live or through reports?
